Our Teachers

Speak English Cafe sessions are led by experienced teachers. They each bring their native North American English skills and life experience to each conversation. They are also life-long learners, who enjoy meeting and sharing with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.


A few of our hundreds of teachers are highlighted here as examples of the rich experience you'll find at Speak English Cafe.

Fred Flintstone is a former backhoe operator from the mountains in western United States. He's traveled extensively and loves to interact with young men starting out in their professional lives.

Wilma Flintstone is a retired college English professor who has previously taught ESL. She volunteers with Speak English Cafe because she loves learning from and teaching young students.

Tim Tebow left a career in professional sports to teach at Speak English Cafe. He loves chatting about sports and other cross-cultural topics.

Our Students

Speak English Cafe has provided English skills training to thousands of students in the Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Europe. They range in age from students to career professionals.
