Speak English Cafe can help take your basic English skills to the next level. Our teachers come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all have native English proficiency. In our guided conversations, you'll be introduced to idioms, new terms, and regional variations that will easily become part of conversations.
We do not provide basic oral or written English skills. Instead, we build on the skills you already have. We also do not charge for our services.

All of our Students must meet these prerequisites:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have your own email address and a computer or smartphone connected to the Internet.
- Attend a Speak English Cafe overview training session.
- Commit to one or more hours each week for online conversations with your teacher.
- Have a working ability to converse in English.

Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed and you may be contacted for an interview. If you are accepted as a student, we'll provide more information about training and how to access your account.
Unfortunately, we have found that not everyone who applies to be a student is a good fit, so applying does not mean you will be accepted.
